ORDERING OF ALL CAKES

Order

To secure your order with Sucré, we require a non-refundable deposit of half the purchase amount. Your date is not secured, and your order is not confirmed until we have received the deposit. All quotes are sent via email and are valid for 7 days from the time they are sent. We reserve the right to change prices after this period.

Remaining Balance

For wedding cakes, the full invoice amount must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the order date. For all other orders, the remaining balance must be paid 2 days before the products are delivered.

 

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you need to cancel your order, the deposit is non-refundable.

For cancellations of wedding cakes with less than 2 weeks' notice, payments are non-refundable. The same applies to all other orders with less than 1 week's notice.

Delivery/Setup

We can deliver the cake for an additional charge, which will be included in your initial quote. Once the order is delivered and possibly set up, you are responsible for the cake. We do not take responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. If the cake is moved after setup, we disclaim responsibility for any loss or damage. If you ask us to leave the cakes somewhere or with someone, this is done at your own risk. We are not responsible for the cake/cupcakes after it has been handed over and cannot guarantee that it will arrive safely at the destination.

 

Postponements

If you wish to postpone the wedding order date for any reason, you must request this by email, and we will check our availability. A postponement fee of 300 NOK will apply. All deposit payments will then be transferred to the new date, and all items listed on the invoice will be provided, assuming they are available. If Sucré is not available for the postponed wedding/event date, our cancellation rules (above) apply.

Rental Items

All rental items belong to Sucré and must not be damaged, tampered with, or altered. Any breakage, loss, or damage must be paid for to replace the same product within 7 days of the incident. All rental items are your responsibility until they are returned to Sucré. Damaged, broken, or lost items remain the property of the company, and a replacement fee will be charged to the customer for the products. Unless otherwise stated, all rental items must be returned within 3 days after the rental.

 

Final Design

We will create your orders exactly as written in the correspondence and in the confirmation email/phone consultation sent 4 weeks before the delivery date. Please double-check that it is detailed as needed. By paying your final invoice, you confirm that what is stated in the final confirmation is exactly what you want us to provide.

 

Allergies

We cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain substances that may cause an allergic reaction. You are responsible for informing your guests about this, and we will not accept any liability for loss or damage from exposure to anything that may cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but is not limited to, nuts, nut products, alcohol, dairy, wheat, sulfites, or coloring agents.

 

You should also note that some decorations are not edible (fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards, etc.). You are responsible for informing your guests about this, and we will not accept any liability for loss, damage, or illness arising from such exposure.

 

A detailed ingredient list can be provided upon request, but must be requested at least 4 weeks before your event. If a venue requires an ingredient list, it must be requested through you, not the venue.

Our products contain gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, and may contain traces of nuts unless otherwise stated.

 

We are happy to accommodate certain allergies, but please note that this is a working kitchen full of a wide range of ingredients. We will use the appropriate ingredients for your allergy, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of the specific requirement due to the kitchen it is baked in. We assume no responsibility for customers who have allergic reactions from consuming our cakes.

Sucré is not responsible for unfavorable weather conditions that affect access to any venue. Sucré will make every effort to reach the venue, but only when it is considered safe.

 

Sucré cannot be held responsible for "Acts of God" (fire, floods, etc.), government advisories, pandemics, labor disputes, power outages, and other unforeseen circumstances that prevent the fulfillment of their services. Sucré reserves the right to review and update these terms and conditions periodically.
